Why Studio Journal...?

I am actively involved in visiting artists' studios, not only for the purpose of choosing artwork for future exhibitions, but as a means of communication, sometimes at the beginning of a professional relationship, and often to stay in touch and get a sense of where the artist's mind is, and what is engaging them. Here I can share it with you, before it gets exhibited, reviewed, and talked to death in public forums online and elsewhere. Let the primary discussion emerge from the artwork itself and not the venues that sell it, promoting their house brand.
